TWO YEARS OF TATTOOING, COMMUNITY & RESILIENCE.
Ghost Town Tattoo celebrated two years at Capital Mall with a weekend-long anniversary event featuring flash tattoos, piercings, giveaways, and a scavenger hunt designed to bring visitors through both the studio and neighboring small businesses.
Just a couple weeks before the event, owner Brandon fractured his elbow and wrist in a skateboarding accident. Although he could no longer tattoo, the anniversary weekend continued as planned with seven tattoo artists, two piercers, and the rest of the team working together to keep the event moving.
Rather than slowing the celebration, the unexpected challenge highlighted the teamwork behind the shop and the community that has supported Ghost Town Tattoo since opening its Olympia location.

MORE THAN A FLASH SALE.
While flash tattoos brought people through the doors, the anniversary weekend became something larger than a typical studio event.
Clients who received a tattoo or piercing were invited to participate in a mall-wide scavenger hunt, visiting seven neighboring businesses for additional raffle entries toward a $500 tattoo giveaway. The event encouraged visitors to explore Capital Mall while introducing them to other local businesses along the way.
With Brandon stepping away from tattooing to help run the front of the shop after his injury, the weekend became a reminder that a successful studio depends on more than the artist behind the machine. Every member of the team helped keep the event moving, creating an atmosphere that felt welcoming, collaborative, and genuinely community-focused.
The strongest anniversary weekends aren't remembered only for the tattoos that leave the shop—they're remembered for the people who make everyone feel like they're part of something worth coming back to.
